In 2019, Grande Charte Digital ex Astro Digital partnered with Essilor North Africa to redefine Nikon Lenswear’s digital presence and deliver a world-class user experience. The redesign focused on accessibility, fluid navigation, and a fully immersive browsing flow ; which led to two Awwwards recognitions: Honorable Mention and Mobile Excellence. By simplifying the UX, restructuring journeys, and adopting a full-screen 100vh section-based experience, we modernized the brand’s online identity to match the premium position of Nikon Lenswear worldwide.

This project combined deep UX research, advanced interface design and a strategic digital roadmap to elevate Nikon Lenswear’s global brand experience. By leveraging a headless CMS architecture and geolocation API integrations, we ensured both content agility and high-value user functionality — enabling scalable rollouts, real-time store accessibility, and frictionless cross-device navigation.

Store Locator

To enhance utility and conversion potential, we developed an advanced store locator connected to a dual input system: Geolocation API for automatic nearest store detection and manual city-based filtering for precise targeting. This feature empowered Nikon Lenswear to better connect users with certified partners ; improving proximity search, relevance and retail interaction at scale.

Going headless CMS with Contentful

We implemented a headless Contentful CMS to enable agile content management, multilingual scalability, and future-ready modular publishing. Marketing and content teams gained total autonomy to update the platform without developer dependency ; accelerating delivery speed while maintaining enterprise governance controls.

Campagnes Social Media

Grande Charte Digital supported Essilor North Africa in operating Nikon Lenswear Morocco’s social media ecosystem end-to-end: editorial planning, content production, media buying, campaign setup and weekly/monthly performance reporting. We managed Meta budgets, produced both branded image formats and motion video assets, and maintained a high response rate across Facebook and Instagram. The objective was clear: increase visibility, generate qualified website traffic and drive users into the store locator funnel. Over one year, the brand maintained a consistent publishing cadence of 12 posts per month ; ensuring sustained reach and relevance across audiences.
